Wilderness Living 3: Authentic Primitive Life Experience

This course is a most unique course as it is (to our knowledge) the only course offered where you will be able to stay in our pre-historic "village" using provided pre-historic tools. This course will give you the opportunity to experience what it would have been like to live in a primitive society while learning an immense array of skills. You will be provided with all the stone tools, pottery and other items you would have needed had you lived in the pre-metal days. During this course you will be learning how to make these items yourself so you will walk away with your own primitive living equipment. You will need to have a proven knowledge of basic survival skills learned either at our school or elsewhere as we would expect you to be able to use the bow-drill provided among other tools.
During the course, you will learn to make the tools you were provided with for you to take home and you will learn how to provide everything for yourself using only these natural tools. As some things cannot legally be carried out in our country (Hunting / trapping for instance) we will provide the foods you would have collected in return to you making and "using" the tools required. This so you will be able to go trough the entire experience as authentic as possible within the framework of the law.
Other skills that will be covered include the manufacturing of clothes, carrying baskets and a personal hygiene "kit". We will serve you lunch and breakfast using natural foods (Or as close an approximation as possible) provided by Wild-Live (Earned by your skill of course) supplemented by the foods you gather throughout the week. We will make sure there are plenty of hot and cold drinks available for you throughout the day once again using only "primitive" methods.
In the evenings we will cook a variety of tasty meals on the fire.
Although we want you to have as authentic an experience as possible, we will ensure that you will receive enough rest, food and liquids and that your circumstances will be comfortable. The course is taught on our specialized course-site where there is plenty of shelter to work in if the weather is bad. The site is about 10 minutes walk away from the car-park, and there may be some muddy areas on the trail to the camp. This course does not require you to have a lot of equipment available, but below is a list:
