Our main base and teaching areas are located in Castle Ward.
The property consists of farmlands, forests and some magnificent castle-ruins and 18th century buildings. The grounds curve around Strangford Lough's Southern shore, and has abundant flaura and fauna. The wood-lands we teach in are mostly broadleaf, though there are patches of magnificant cedars and other conifers. In the forests live Pine-Martens, Badgers, Foxes and many other animals, while the shore is home to Otter as well as Seals and a number of endangered birds.
In Castle Ward, we teach most of our courses, including our events and summer camps. It is also the meeting place for the free monthly skills meet-up.
We can be found by asking for us at the main reception in the Stable Yard. When we are at work there you are more then welcome to drop by, but be sure to phone us to make sure we're in.
