Carraig Dúlra is a organic small-holding , run by Suzie and Mike Cahn. It is also a space where a variety of other educational and community initiatives take place.
These include: teaching organic growing, gardening for bio-diversity, sustainable and traditional skills, permaculture, primitive living (or bushcraft), nature courses for children and families, and creative healing workshops combining Art Therapy Techniques with Eco Pscyhology and Nature, as well as other gatherings and 'eco/hikers' camping.
Directions
From Dublin:
M50 southbound, follow Wicklow N11, Remain on N11
until exit for Rathnew/Ashford/Wicklow. (roughly 47kms)
At Rathnew turn right at small roundabout taking the
R752 signposted Gleneally/Rathdrum
After Gleneally village which is small, (just one church,
pub, and shop) continue along straight road past
housing estate, school, nursery)
Road begins to bend.
You take a right turn just before the
road continues under a railway bridge.
Carraig Dulra is about a mile on this road beyond most
houses.
The road gets windy and there are signs noting the
small stream on left is Gleneally's water supply. You will
see a sign that indicates a left turn is coming up. Our
entrance is opposite the left turn itself (not the sign for
it). We share the entrance with a house entrance on the
