Purple Spearhead
This purple coloured spearhead measures an impressive 3 Inches and a quarter in length. The width is approximately 1 inch at the widest part of the artefact. I made this spearhead from a flake of stone someone gave me while I was visiting the United States. Unfortunately, I cannot remember what sort of stone it is. As I hafted this point in a handle once for a demonstration, there is is a bit of "hide-glue" visible on the spearhead, but I have now cleaned this off.

Israeli Bitumen-flint birdpoint
This delightful little arrowhead is made from Bitumen-flint I found in the Negev desert in Israel. The flint is quite unique, as it contains bitumen, which you can smell when you abrade the flint with an abrading stone during the knapping process (It smells like tar). The arrowhead is about 1 1/2 inches long and 5/8ths of an inch wide

Mahogany Obsidian arrowhead
Measuring just short of 1 3/4th of an inch long and 5/8th of an inch wide, this arrowhead is made from Mahogany Obsidian.
Obsidian is a volcanic glass that is produced when molten lava hits the atmosphere and cools down so fast it doesn't have the time to crystallise. The colour variations are caused by the presence of various minerals in the lava.

Tan flint Hollow-base Arrowhead
This arrowhead is made from a tan coloured flint nodule I found in Co Antrim, Northern Ireland. The material is so fine, you can see the light shining through most of the arrowhead when it’s held against a light-source. This arrowhead is very sharp and sturdy and measures about 1 7/8th of an inch by 7/8th of an inch.

Hollow-base Mahogany Obsidian Arrowhead
Here another arrowhead made out of this interesting mahogany obsidian. This arrowhead measures about 1.5 inches X 1 inch. This is an extremely sharp arrowhead that would make an interesting addition to anyone’s collection

Translucent grey Flint Spear-point
This point measures nearly three inches long and is a bit more then an inch in width. It is designed to be hafted on the tip of a throwing spear, which could be used with an atlatl as well. The edge is slightly serrated helping to slice through hide.

Hollow-based Bitumen Flint arrowhead
I made this arrowhead while working in Israel teaching flint knapping. It is a lovely arrowhead made once again from the bitumen flint described before. On one side of the arrowhead, you can actually still see a small spot of the chalky layer that covered the flint nodule. It measures 1.5 inches by 1 inch, and is exceptionally thin.

Jasper arrowhead
This arrowhead is among my more prized possessions. It's exceptionally beautiful because of all the colours contained in this piece of Jasper I picked up whilst in the US. The arrowhead is very regular and thin and measures 2 inches in length and nearly an inch in width at the base

Tear-drop spear-point
Tear-drop spear-point
This spear-point is made from a beautiful black material that resembles flint, although I am not sure it is. It’s a lovely piece with a length of 2 ¾ inches and 1.5 inches across. It’s quite thin and should be easy to haft on a spear.

Jasper hollow-based arrowhead
This is the one I secretly hope no-one will buy. It is my favourite by far. It measures nearly two inches in length by 3/4th in width. It's exceptionally sharp and thin, and would look fantastic in any collection (As it currently does in mine)

tear-drop shaped petrified wood spear-point
2.5 by 1 3/8th are the measurements of this tear-drop shaped spear-point. As you can see it is made from a wonderfully coloured stone, which (If I remember correctly) is petrified wood. It is very thin and very sharp around the edges.
